dos Aguadas is small Maya village halfway through the jungle to Carmelita and the el Mirador / la Danta jungle trek. This little Maya village is your last stop if you’re headed to el Zotz and/or Uaxactun / Tikal on an overnight or three hike through the jungle of Peten.
Excellent women’s group in this village plants acres and acres of organic crops – we just with they’d share some of their Maya tabacco with us. If you decide to stay in this village, we’ll happily reimburse you for whatever you can bring back with you.
